The Bhote Koshi River is a popular destination for white water rafting and kayaking in Nepal. The river start its origin from the Solukhumbu District and is considered to be one of the steepest and most challenging rivers in the world. It features Class IV and V rapids, making it suitable for experienced rafters and kayakers. The Bhote Koshi rafting season typically runs from September to November and from March to May.In addition to the challenging rapids, the Bhote Koshi River also offers stunning scenery, including lush vegetation and towering mountains. The river flows through the Langtang National Park, which is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, including rare and endangered species.

trip typically starts from the town of Barabise and ends at the Sundarijal Bridge, a distance of about 23 km. The trip takes about 1 hours, depending on the water level.

We  typically provide all necessary equipment, including rafts, paddles, life jackets, and helmets, as well as experienced guides who are trained in white water rescue techniques. We can  also provide accommodation and meals on the trip with extra cost.

It is important to note that Bhote Koshi River is considered as one of the most challenging river of the world with class 4-5 rapids and it is not recommended for highly skilled rafter and should be attempted with proper guides and equipment.

Day 1

Pick Up From Hotel For Rafting

Early morning departure from Kathmandu to the town of Barabise, which is the starting point for the Bhote Koshi rafting trip. The drive takes about 4 to 5 hours and offers scenic views of the mountains and countryside. Upon arrival in Barabise, lunch and briefing on safety measures, and equipment check-up. Afternoon, start the rafting trip, with rapids such as "Upset", "Jaws", "Washing Machine", "Weir" etc. Continue rafting and end the trip at Sundarijal Bridge. Drive back to Kathmandu, arriving in the evening.

Special Note:
