·        Pashupatinath Temple:

Pashupatinath temple is most revered Hindu temple in Nepal which is situated on the banks of holy river Bagmati. This temple lies 5km to the east of city center. Prachanda Deva, a Licchavi ruler and a devoted follower of Shiva, is thought to have constructed the temple. It is designed in the Pagoda style with gilt roofing and richly carved silver doors dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Millions of Hindus visit the temple each year to pray and worship Pashupatinath as it is stunning and revered location worth seeing. If you ever travel to Kathmandu, Nepal, make sure you experience this breathtaking ritual.

·        Boudhanath Stupa

Boudhanath stupa is one of the most important pilgrimage site of Nepal listed as the largest stupas in the world and UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. Around the 14th century, the Boudhanath Stupa is believed to have been created just after the death of Gautam Buddha. The structure of the building consists of a giant dome, on the top which sits a Buddhist pyramid tower. All of this sits on top of huge steps shaped like mandalas themselves. The stupa rapidly became an focal point to worship and offer.

·        Swayambhunath Stupa

The Swayambhu Purana claims that the valley was completely covered by a huge lake from which a lotus sprouted. The name Swayambhu, which means "Self-Created," began to be used for the valley. The name derives from a perpetual, self-existent flame (svyabhu), over which a later-erected spa was constructed.  This stupa is the oldest of its kind in Nepal and has numerous shrines and monasteries on its premises. With the inclusion of Hindu temples and deities on this Buddhist site, the stupa has served as a symbol of faith and unity for millennia. The temple is located just 5 km away from Kathmandu.

·        Kathmandu Durbar Square

The UNESCO World Heritage Site KATHMANDU DURBAR SQUARE is one of three squares in Nepal's Kathmandu Valley. Durbar Square (durbar translates to "palace" or "a prince's court") is an important location for Buddhist and Hindu rituals, holy ceremonies, royal events, and kingly coronations. Kathmandu Durbar Square, surrounded by fountains, ancient statues, small ponds, and a series of courtyards such as Mohan Chok and Sundari Chok, is a meditative, religious site for spiritual seekers.

·        Chandragiri Hills

Folklore claims that Prithvi Narayan Shah gathered spiritual abilities for unification after engaging in a rigorous "sadhana" or meditation at these particular hills. The significance of Chandragiri Hill stems from King Prithivi Narayan Shah's decision to unite Nepal. It was also a trading hub for Nepal's various regions prior to the country's unification. The location of the Prithivi Narayan Shah statue next to the temple emphasizes the sacredness of the land. This statue is also easily visible from where you exit the cable car ride, and it is the first stop for visitors as they ascend the hill. It is conveniently located 24 kilometers from the heart of Kathmandu, Nepal, and is easily accessible to residents of the capital city. As a result, it is a popular tourist destination. This location is linked to Nepal's political upbringing as well as the people's economic trade all those years ago. The site is promoted to people of all ages and genders. There is a temple for the elderly and religious, a view tower for young adults, a playground for children, and a business hotel for middle-aged businessmen. This is a great place to get away from the bustling city life of Kathmandu for both Nepalis and foreigners. Chandragiri hilltop, located less than an hour's drive from Kathmandu, is a captivating tourist destination rich in both natural beauty and cultural significance. The entire length of all the great Himalayan mountain massifs can be seen from the top of Chandragiri Nepal at 2500 km. A view tower with binoculars is available for a better view. The great Annapurna, Nepal's favorite trekking destination Mount Manaslu, the mighty Ganesh Himal, and then the magnificent Langtang Himal run from west to east. A clear sky might even allow one to see Mount Everest.

·        Bhaleshwar Mahadev

Lord Shiva is one of the Hindu religion's three main gods. The Bhaleshwar Mahadev (temple) has long been used to worship Lord Shiva. The mandir on top of the hill is dedicated to Lord Shiva, and it is said that: “Sati Devi, Shiva's first consort, gave her life at Daksha Prajapati's yagna after Daksha insulted Shiva in front of other deities. Enraged by Sridevi's death, Shiva walked across the world with her dead body on his back. Shiva's rage blinded him to the fact that Satidevi's decaying body was falling apart. Sridevi's body parts were scattered around the world. Later, pilgrimages were established at these locations. The Bhaleshwor Mahadev temple is thought to have been built at one of these locations, where Satidevi's brow ('Bhala') had fallen.”
